The Field Guide - Are You Ready to Wild Up?

Immersion First. Filters Last.
We are very JUNGLY. Every inch of our basecamp—from the sleeping quarters to the communal spaces—is designed to maximize your connection to the rainforest. This is a place for those who want to hear the jungle breathe, not those looking for a sanitized hotel stay.

Before you book, read this "fine print" to make sure your expectations align with our reality:

  • The Jungle is the Walls: Our design focuses on airflow and immersion. You will hear the rain, the insects, and the birds. It’s a symphony for some, but a distraction for others.

  • Fellow Explorers: Our spaces are built to foster a community of like-minded travelers. If you value shared stories over secluded luxury, you’re in the right place.

  • Nature is the Main Event: We prioritize the environment over high-tech amenities. Come here to unplug, not to sync up.

Read the full "Intel" below to ensure we are the right fit for your adventure.

RAW NATURE

Nature in the Raw: You won't find manicured lawns, air conditioning, or structures of glass and steel here. We offer a minimalist "glamping" experience that prioritizes the environment over artificial comforts.

Local Residents: Expect to encounter wildlife up close and personal. From birds and butterflies to the smaller architects of the forest—including spiders—you are a guest in their home.

Old-School Fun: We trade screens for social connection. Spend your evenings playing board games and sharing stories with fellow explorers.

SILENTish NIGHTS

Rainforest Bathing: Our space is built for you to re-wild and re-earth. We embrace a "silent-ish" policy at night, letting the jungle do the talking while you soak in the sounds of the ancient canopy.

The Power Cycle: To minimize our footprint, we have a no-power phase during the day (10:30 am – 5:00 pm) while you’re out exploring, and again overnight (10:30 pm – 7:00 am). Note: If it’s a "super-hot" night, we leave the power on to keep things comfortable.

BACK TO BASICS

Minimalist Sleep Spaces: We are NOT a normal hotel. Our rooms are purposefully stripped back: just a bed, a mosquito net, a couple of hooks, and a bench. Outside, your verandah features a simple table and chairs for private rainforest bathing.

Unplugged Rooms: There are no power points in the rooms. We provide a central charging station in the common area available whenever the power is on.

Open & Honest: There are no locks on the doors. This design, like the rest of the lodge, is intentional—it removes the physical and mental barriers between you and the wild, allowing you to focus entirely on re-earthing without the distractions of modern life.
